Acorn Wand, 10" x 10", Acrylic

If I could make magic happen I would lift this wand.  This is another magnolia pod from my collection.
Did I mention that I have a rather large magnolia tree looming over my back porch.  I know it is at least twice my age.  My life is very busy again.  I decided to re-enroll into the doctorate program I started 4 years ago.  I am half way through.  This semester I am taking the history of art history.  I am intrigued by how all these minds tend to view how artists think.  Also I am looking forward to how this new perspective influences my choices in subject matter.  This young group of minds is refreshing.  I will be painting a lot in the coming months so your feedback is welcome.
