A dig into the surface ground with the butt of a paintbrush to imprint an image. 3. The space between the figure and the ground from which emerges a skeletal impression of an image. 4. A constant searching for the middle ground through the application of paint and projected thought that culminated into a work of art.

  1. I love the works you have posted on this blog. They are beautiful in their simplicity of item, encouraging the viewer to take in the layers of color and nuances of shape. The objects are in nature and are familiar, but we are asked to view them in a new way. How cool is that?!
